BREAKING: APC Governors reduce proposed presidential aspirants to three at the ongoing national convention in Abuja
Governors elected under the banner of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have further narrowed down the roster of intended presidential candidates to three at the ongoing National Convention in Abuja.
NAIJATAB NEWS had previously disclosed that APC governors submitted a five-member list of candidates from the southern region to President Muhammadu Buhari for evaluation.
The candidates initially suggested were Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu; Vice President Yemi Osinbajo; Rotimi Amaechi; Governor Kayode Fayemi and Governor Dave Umahi.
According to The Nation, the governors have now reportedly reduced the list to three candidates with Tinubu, Osinbajo, and Amaechi included in the proposed roster.
