Breaking: Fire razes Kogi Assembly building
Flames have destroyed the Kogi State House of Assembly building in Lokoja, the capital of the State.
Reports indicate that the early morning blaze severely damaged the flooring of the structure via the ceiling of the Chamber.
As per PUNCH, an anonymous source mentioned that he suspected an explosion, but could not identify who might be culpable.
The Assembly's Speaker, Mathew Kolawole, expressed his belief that it may be an act of sabotage.
Nevertheless, Kolawole was unable to specify the potential origin of the suspected sabotage.
