Ekiti Guber Poll: APC wins first polling unit

The gubernatorial aspirant of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Abiodun Oyebanji, has triumphed in his initial Polling Unit during the ongoing Ekiti State gubernatorial election. The APC achieved victory at polling unit 10, ward 10, Afao/Kajola, with Oyebanji garnering 20 votes to surpass the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Bisi Kolawole, who received only two votes. The representative of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Segun Oni, along with candidates from other parties, did not secure any votes in this polling unit. KEMI KILANI NEWS previously reported that Oyebanji had conveyed confidence in his ability to win the Ekiti gubernatorial election by a substantial margin.

Breaking: Oyetola, deputy governor, Aregbesola deliver polling units to APC

Governor Gboyega Oyetola, his assistant, Benedict Alabi, and Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola, secured their polling units for the governing All Progressive Congress, APC, during the ongoing Osun gubernatorial election. Oyetola prevailed in his polling unit at Ward 1, LA School, Popo, Iragbiji in Boripe Local Government Area, accumulating 545 votes to outpace his primary rival, Ademola Adeleke of the Peoples Democratic Party, who received 69 votes. In Aregbesola's absence, APC garnered 164 votes to conquer the minister’s polling unit at Ward 8, unit 1, Isare Ifofin, Ilesa East Local Government Area, while the leading opposition party, PDP, attained 134 votes.
