Early Years and Education In 1964, Onyema was born in Mbosi, Ihiala Local Government Area of Anambra State, and he was raised in Benin and Warri. The award seeks to recognize the vital role that civil society has played in the execution of the WPS agenda. This endeavor aligns with the aims of the African Union, which encompass creating a society centered around its people and enacting Agenda 2063 for collective prosperity and welfare, unity, and integration, as well as a continent of liberated citizens and realms where the potential of women and youth is completely fulfilled.
