The Yorubas are one of the major ethnic groups in Nigeria, alongside the Igbos and Hausas. They dominate the country’s western area and are found in all of the six states (Osun, Oyo, Ogun, Ekiti, Lagos and Ondo) in the zone.
Apart from Nigeria, the Yorubas are also found in Togo, Benin Republic, and Brazil.
