Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa is the present Governor of Delta State. He was welcomed into the world on July 8, 1959, in Owa-Alero within the Ika North-East Local Government Area of Delta State. He completed his SSCE at Edo College in Benin City in 1976, before pursuing Medicine and Surgery at the University of Ibadan, from which he graduated in 1981 with an MBBS degree.
