The Appeal Court convened in Abuja has upheld the publisher of SaharaReporter, Omoyele Sowore, as the National Chairman of the African Action Congress (AAC). Sowore had in an appeal numbered CA/A/812/2019 contested a High Court ruling delivered by Justice Inyang Ekwo, which declared one Leonard Nzenwa as the Acting Chairman of the party. The AAC presidential contender also requested the court through his attorney, Inibehe Effiong, to nullify the ruling of the lower court and grant all the requests made by the appellant.
