Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa is the current Governor of Delta State. He came into existence on July 8, 1959, in Owa-Alero located in the Ika North-East Local Government Area of Delta State. He completed his SSCE at Edo College in Benin City in 1976, prior to studying Medicine and Surgery at the University of Ibadan, from which he obtained an MBBS degree in 1981.
