May 29: Muhammadu Buhari submits assets declaration forms
Prior to the May 29 inauguration, President Muhammadu Buhari, in adherence to the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, presented his assets declaration forms to the Code of Conduct Bureau, CCB, which by legislation must precede his oath-taking.
This information was included in a statement released by his spokesperson, Garba Shehu.
It clarified that the properly completed forms were handed over to the Chairman of the CCB, Professor Mohammed Isa, on behalf of the President by Sarki Abba, Senior Special Assistant, Household and Domestic Affairs.
