INEC postpones Kogi, Bayelsa guber elections, gives new date

After much speculations, it has been confirmed by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) that the governorship election in Kogi and Bayelsa States has been postponed. The commission had earlier on Thursday shifted the date for the Kogi and Bayelsa States governorship election from Nov. 2 to Nov. 16. The Commission disclosed this in a statement issued by its National Commissioner and Chairman, Information and Voter Education Committee, Mr Festus Okoye on Thursday in Abuja.
