DSS arrests acting chairman of EFCC, Ibrahim Magu | Details
The Department of State Services has apprehended the Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Ibrahim Magu, due to accusations that he possesses four properties and that he was purportedly transferring funds internationally via a third party.
He was detained at the Wuse II office of the DSS on Monday afternoon and is currently undergoing questioning at the DSS Headquarters on Aso Drive.Recall that in 2016, the DSS charged Magu with residing in a N40m mansion financed by one Umar Mohammed, a retired air commodore who is allegedly embroiled in illicit dealings.
