Breaking: Oyetola, deputy governor, Aregbesola deliver polling units to APC

Governor Gboyega Oyetola, his assistant, Benedict Alabi, and Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola, secured their polling units for the governing All Progressive Congress, APC, during the ongoing Osun gubernatorial election. Oyetola prevailed in his polling unit at Ward 1, LA School, Popo, Iragbiji in Boripe Local Government Area, accumulating 545 votes to outpace his primary rival, Ademola Adeleke of the Peoples Democratic Party, who received 69 votes. In Aregbesola's absence, APC garnered 164 votes to conquer the minister’s polling unit at Ward 8, unit 1, Isare Ifofin, Ilesa East Local Government Area, while the leading opposition party, PDP, attained 134 votes. High commissioner says UK to help Nigeria deliver credible elections in 2023
