Terrorists attack hotel complex in Nairobi, several dead
A number of individuals have been confirmed deceased following an assault by militants at DusitD2, a high-end hotel complex in Nairobi, Kenya, today, Tuesday, January 15, 2019.
As per the reports, the assault caused chaos with people fleeing in distress as blasts and intense gunfire echoed throughout the area.
Instablog9ja indicates that Al-Shabab, the Somalia-centered extremist organization responsible for the 2013 Westgate Mall assault in Nairobi which resulted in 67 fatalities, has claimed accountability for the incident.
The assault resulted in several vehicles being set ablaze while individuals were hurriedly evacuated, some being carried, from the location.
