Breaking: We didn’t remove Mbaka from Adoration Ministry — Catholic Church
The Catholic Secretariat of Nigeria has stated that Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka had not been dismissed from the Adoration Ministry Enugu Nigeria (AMEN).
National Director of Social Communications, Padre Michael Umoh, who revealed this in a communiqué released in Abuja on Monday, articulated that Mbaka was directed to spend a period in contemplation at a monastery to discern what the Spirit of God wished to convey to him.
Umoh mentioned that Mbaka continues to be the Spiritual Director of the Adoration Ministry despite incorrect reports circulating in certain circles.
The CSN clarified that the explanation was essential due to a news article that inaccurately implied that Bishop Callistus Onaga dismissed Fr. Ejike Mbaka from his position as the head of the Adoration Ministry.
