Okorocha, other South-East aspirants urge Buhari to pick an Igbo aspirant as APC presidential candidate

Presidential contender of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Senator Rochas Okorocha along with other candidates from the South-East have requested President Muhammadu Buhari to select an Igbo candidate as the ruling party’s presidential nominee. The South-East presidential candidates expressed this request in a letter endorsed by Ikeobasi Mokelu, former ministers of Science, Technology and Innovation, Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu; State for Education, Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba, Ebonyi State Governor, Dave Umahi, as well as Mrs. Ken Uju-Ohanenye, addressed to President Buhari. Governors elected under the banner of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have further narrowed down the roster of intended presidential candidates to three at the ongoing National Convention in Abuja.
