Armed military personnel, on Sunday, invaded the headquarters of Daily Trust newspaper in Jabi area of Abuja, carting away computers, laptops and other gadgets from the newsroom. According to Punch Newspaper, the intent of the action remains uncoewrt although it was gathered the incident might be connected with the lead story of Daily Trust on Sunday on military operations in the North East. The paper had reported that the Nigerian military is making plans to reclaim Baga and other communities taken over by Boko Haram some weeks ago. Governors elected under the banner of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have further narrowed down the roster of intended presidential candidates to three at the ongoing National Convention in Abuja.
