BREAKING: Abducted Chibok schoolgirl found in Borno
One of the abducted girls from Government Girls’ Secondary School, Chibok, in 2014, Mrs. Mary Ngoshe, has been located in Borno State by the forces of the 26 Task Force Brigade.
The Nigerian Army reported that Ngoshe, discovered with a child presumed to be hers, was seized by the troops while conducting a patrol in the Ngoshe area of Borno State.
This announcement was made by the Nigerian Army on its verified Twitter account, @HQNigerianArmy, on Wednesday morning.
The tweet states, “Troops of the 26 Task Force Brigade on patrol around Ngoshe in Borno State on 14 June 2022 intercepted one Mrs. Mary Ngoshe and her child. She is thought to be one of the kidnapped girls from GGSS Chibok in 2014. Further investigation ongoing.”
