Sunny Ojeagbase was a pioneer sport journalist in Nigeria and the brain behind Complete Sports and Success Digest, which are still in existence to date.

Aside from being a journalist, Sunny Ojeagbase was the brain behind Complete Communications Limited, a businessman and mentor to many Nigerian business people like Akin Alabi of Nairabet.

Recently, Sunny Ojeagbese was in the news after his family announced his death at the age of 71 on Monday evening.

Sunny Obazu-Ojeagbase was born on the 31st of December 1950 in Osogbo, Osun state to Edo State parents but there are no details of who they were.

There are no record of whether Sunny Ojeagbase had any siblings; he was a Nigerian by birth and was 71 years old before his death.

Sunny Ojeagbase finished his primary education from St. James’ Primary School, Osogbo in 1962 after which he was enlisted into the Nigerian Army after working as a printer trainee.
