Soldiers Retrieve Stolen Cattle in Plateau



Forces of Operation Safe Haven have retrieved stolen cattle in Plateau State following a security mission in Riyom Local Government Area.

This development was revealed in a post shared on X on Tuesday by security analyst Zagazola Makama, who referenced security insiders.

As per the report, forces of Sector 6 stationed at Makera responded to reliable intelligence around 7:20 am on Monday concerning the movement of suspected stolen cattle near Tahoos community.

The troops promptly conducted a search-and-recovery mission in the vicinity, resulting in the retrieval of six cattle left behind by the rustlers, who fled upon spotting the security forces.

The retrieved cattle were subsequently returned to their rightful owner.

Security insiders reported that troops have maintained patrols in the region to avert additional criminal activities and guarantee the safety of inhabitants.
