Simone Biles: Professional Journey
Simone commenced her gymnastics training at the tender age of 8, joining Bannon’s Gymnastix. She began her career at the junior level in 2011 by competing in the American Classic and U.S. Classic. In 2012, she participated in the USA Gymnastics National Championships and U.S. Classic. She achieved a place in the United Junior National team by finishing 3rd overall and 6th in the uneven bars and floor exercises.
In 2013, she made her senior international debut at the American Cup, where she secured second place. She competed at the City of Jesolo Trophy in Italy, claiming a gold medal.
