“Peter Obi Stands Firm Against Transactional Politics: POMR Hits Back at Bwala”

Peter Obi Media Reach, POMR, has asserted that the previous presidential candidate ought to be omitted from any discussions regarding what it termed “transactional politics”.

The organization was reacting to assertions made by President Bola Tinubu’s spokesperson, Daniel Bwala, who claimed that Obi tried to contact him.

In a declaration by its spokesperson, Ibrahim Umar, POMR characterized the allegation as inaccurate, emphasizing that it was prompted to respond to avert the public from being misled.

The statement read, “Typically, we would not bestow Barr Bwala’s unfounded allegations with a response, considering his well-documented record of deceit. Nevertheless, we believe it is vital to address this issue for the advantage of the public, who might be misled.”

According to the organization, Obi has steadily distanced himself from individuals it associates with transactional politics.

“Our principal, Peter Obi, has made it evident that he excludes individuals like Bwala from his political engagements and any kind of transactional politics that perpetuate people like him in political spheres.”

“The Peter Obi that Nigerians are familiar with and value will never participate in such activities. He would rather allocate resources to provide desks for children in Bwala’s community than compensate him to fabricate untruths for public perception,” the statement conveyed.

POMR remarked that Obi’s political ideology focuses on championing effective governance and constructing a better society rather than paying individuals to endorse his mission.

“Obi’s method is founded on the quest for effective governance and the establishment of a superior society for everyone. He does not compensate individuals to advocate for a cause; instead, he encourages them to unite with him in embracing a common vision.”

“His ‘engagement’ is centered around persuasion, underscoring the immediate necessity for a united effort to salvage our nation. He welcomes those who opt to join him voluntarily, inspired by the same profound beliefs.”

The organization further implored politicians it accused of participating in transactional politics to reflect on their actions for the benefit of the nation’s future.

“For the umpteenth time, we urge Bwala and others of his kind to exclude Peter Obi from their avarice, repent, and unite with us in the pursuit of a new Nigeria that is indeed POssible,” the statement concluded.
