His debut YouTube series was a playthrough of the video game “Amnesia: The Dark Descent,” but after playing several more games on his channel, YouTube disabled his AdSense account, leading him to establish a new channel, “markiplierGAME,” in May 2012.
Beginning a playthrough of “Five Nights at Freddy’s” in August 2014, this quickly became his most famous series, accumulating over 80 million views. Later in the franchise, he participated in “Five Nights at Freddy’s AR: Special Delivery,” and made a cameo in “Five Nights at Freddy’s AR: Special Delivery,” released in 2019.
