Leo Mezie Defends Apostle Johnson Suleman During the Stephenie Otobo Scandal

“I have been encountering diverse narratives from various mediums regarding apostle Suleiman and Stephenie Otobo along with other commentary. Some individuals expressed disbelief as to why the apostle would assist someone he had never met. My heart aches because Apostle Suleiman had never met me prior to his assistance. I had never heard of him or encountered him until he learned of my situation, confirmed it, and got in touch with me.

This is a man I had never seen or heard of, yet he sent me 8 million to settle my medical expenses in the UK. He was also consistently checking on my well-being and even dispatched church members in the UK to visit me regularly, Pastor Ejiro and Pastor Daniella Williams to check on me. Upon my return, I visited him to express my gratitude. Thus, to question why he would send funds to someone he had not met is illogical.

Understand that Apostle Suleiman, whom I know and have met multiple times, does not travel alone; he brings a large entourage anywhere he goes in the world. Moreover, Apostle Suleiman is deeply devoted to his family, and his wife is often a subject of his discussions. Thirdly, while Apostle Suleiman is generally affable and cheerful, he would never take inappropriate photographs of himself or with anyone as Stephenie Otobo claims. Lastly, his kindness and spirit of giving will not cost him his reputation or cause him issues; not a million Stephenie Otobos can deter him as it is his duty to serve. I, Leo Mezie, am a testament to this! Ultimately, I would rather not curse Stephenie Otobo, yet I will pray for her that the good Lord may show her mercy in Jesus’ name, Amen.
