Jeff Probst was born on November 4, 1961, to Jerry Probst and Barbara Probst. He originated from Wichita, Kansas, in the United States but spent the majority of his formative years in Bellevue, Washington.
He completed his education at Newport High School in 1979. Following that, he enrolled at Seattle Pacific University, Washington, for further studies but left before completing his degree.
Throughout his life, Jeff Probst has been married two times. In 1996, he wed Shelley Wright, a psychotherapist, but the marriage ended in divorce in 2001.
In 2004, he began a relationship with Survivor contestant Julie Berry, although they separated in 2008. Subsequently, he tied the knot with his second spouse, Lisa Ann Russell, in 2011. The couple is currently enjoying a joyful married life.
