He performed as a professional skateboarder for nearly two decades before retiring in 2006. He set a Guinness World Record in 2001 for the highest drop on a skateboard by leaping into a 70-foot ramp.
This record stood until 2006, when it was surpassed by famed skateboarder Danny Way. In terms of his Mixed Martial Arts career, he debuted on February 6, 2009, against renowned fighter Tony Gianopulos, winning the match via guillotine choke submission. In his subsequent fight, he faced and triumphed over popular fighter Gabe Rivas with an Americana submission.
