International Men’s Day: Group supports Lagos-based grassroots football club

In celebration of the 2022 International Men’s Day, Duale, Ovia & Alex-Adedipe (DOA), a distinguished specialized law firm in Lagos, will contribute to Team360, a local football squad in Surulere.

The firm stated that the funds will be utilized to assist Team360’s young players in chasing their aspirations of playing professional football for Nigeria and abroad.

DOA has already transferred N500,000 into Team360 FC’s bank account ahead of International Men’s Day.

Regarding its support for Team360, DOA expressed that the initiative aligns with the firm’s commitment to giving back to the community, both locally and globally, while continuously seizing opportunities to enhance society.

“As the firm continues its progression, it is crucial that we uplift our community by investing in our local areas, which also contributes to fortifying our nation’s economic stature and which is the reason this year, in celebrating International Men’s Day, Duale, Ovia & Alex-Adedipe is sponsoring and aiding grassroots football club, Team360,” the firm articulated in a brief film released in honor of International Men’s Day.

The legal practice of Duale, Ovia & Alex-Adedipe has received “heartfelt appreciation” from Team360 FC for contributing N500,000 to the team’s account.

“We extend our gratitude to your management and organization for this contribution as this will facilitate the acquisition of training equipment and other logistics necessary to elevate the team in preparation for our upcoming Fusion Football Championship league commencing in December 2022,” the club stated in a letter of gratitude signed by Hamza Akeem Oladimeji, its president and founder.

International Men’s Day

Every year on November 19, the globe acknowledges and celebrates men for their positive contributions to society, their families, and their communities. This year’s event will promote awareness of men’s well-being and spotlight positive role models.

Through the years, DOA has demonstrated its commitment to corporate social responsibility by providing complimentary legal services to disadvantaged individuals and victims of human rights infringements; supporting law students and law student organizations across various Nigerian universities, particularly through its year-round internship initiative; and aiding in the development of new legal practice areas in Nigeria by organizing, backing, and partaking in various activities.
