Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, team Kun Khalifat FC has been placed in the 2026 Imo FA Federation Cup.
The initial round of the tournament is set to begin on Wednesday, 24th March.
Nigeria National League, NNL, team Heartland FC will face off against non-league club Egbema FC in the opening round at the OISA Stadium, Ngor Okpala.
A total of 29 clubs will participate in this phase of the competition.
Victors will progress to the subsequent round, with elite teams vying for the state’s championship.
Heartland FC holds the title of the reigning champions of the tournament.
