Arsenal sensation, Eberechi Eze, has emerged as the second English athlete to net for the Gunners in the Premier League, Carabao Cup, FA Cup, and UEFA Champions League within the same season, following Theo Walcott in the 2012-13 season.
As reported by ESPN FC, Eze accomplished this milestone by scoring for Arsenal in the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 second-leg match against Bayer Leverkusen this week.
The England representative found the back of the net as Arsenal triumphed over the Bundesliga team 2-0 at the Emirates Stadium, advancing to the quarter-final stage of the Champions League.
The 27-year-old transferred to Arsenal from Crystal Palace during the summer transfer window last year.
Eze has shown remarkable form for Mikel Arteta’s squad thus far and has scored in all four competitions Arsenal is engaging in this season.
He will now aim to guide Arsenal in clinching the Carabao Cup when they confront Manchester City in the final at Wembley Stadium this Sunday.
