Benue mandates mock exams for SSS 3 advancement.

The Benue State Quality Assurance and Examinations Board (BEQAEB) has declared that enrollment for the 2026 Mock Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE) is currently in progress, with a definite deadline of March 31, 2026.

In a public announcement released by the board, stakeholders—including school heads, parents, guardians, and learners—were encouraged to take the enrollment process seriously, stressing that the mock examination is an essential component of the academic timeline.

As per the board, registration is exclusively online and must be finalised through its official website.

The Mock SSCE has been classified as a compulsory qualifying examination for all aspiring SS3 students.

BEQAEB additionally mentioned that only candidates who successfully enroll and engage in the mock examination will be authorized to take external assessments the subsequent year.

The board also cautioned that any student who does not participate in the Mock SSCE will not advance to Senior Secondary School Three (SS3).

“All parties concerned are highly encouraged to ensure strict adherence to these guidelines,” stated Jeffrey Adzam, Information Officer of the board.
