Anita Oyakhilome was raised in a household with 5 siblings, where she was the eldest daughter.
Her parents were relatively affluent, as her father was employed by the Nigerian Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC).
Anita completed her studies at Ambrose Alli University (AAU) in Ekpoma, earning a diploma in English Language.
Almost 23 years ago (in 1991), she tied the knot when she became the spouse of pastor Chris Oyakhilome. They met while she was pursuing her education at the university and ultimately wed in Lagos. Together, they welcomed two lovely daughters – Charlyn and Sharon.
Sadly, she separated and divorced pastor Chris, and now her new surname is Anita Ebhodaghe.
Incidentally, many individuals criticized pastor Chris for marrying a fair-skinned woman (Anita). The public believes there were numerous admirable and respectable black women in Nigeria eager to marry and support pastor Chris as a devoted wife.
Nevertheless, such claims were unfounded since pastor Anita has a Nigerian-Swiss heritage. Moreover, she hails from the same region as pastor Chris – Edo state.
Anita is recognized as the author of several books, including Confession for Living, Handbook for Successful Living, Unending Springs of Joy, and more.
While married to Pastor Chris, Anita served as the Director of Christ Embassy’s International Office. She also oversaw operations in the British region. Additionally, she is a co-founder of Christ Embassy.
