Tinubu’s former CSO named Lagos Commissioner of Police

Kayode Egbetokun, Previous chief security officer to Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the national figure of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has been appointed the new police commissioner in Lagos state.

As reported by The Cable, he served as Tinubu’s CSO for several years before ascending to the role of commandant at the Police Training School in Ikeja, Lagos.

This comes after announcements that the former commissioner, Edgal Imohimi, was on Sunday reassigned to the force headquarters in Abuja.

Unverified claims suggest that Imohimi was “dismissed” due to his inadequate security measures during the APC gubernatorial rally, which devolved into chaos last week.
